Steffen Tepel

Parallel to his career as a competitive athlete (German Nordic Combined team, including junior world champion and world cup participant), Steffen Tepel studied sports science at the University of Freiburg im Breisgau.

 

From 2013 to 2014, Steffen Tepel was the chief team trainer of the Swiss Nordic Combined team and together with Tim Hug, in January of 2014, achieved Switzerland’s first World Cup victory since 1994, as well as serving as the chief adviser for the Swiss national team during the Olympic games in Sochi in 2014. In 2013, in the course of preparations for the Olympics, Steffen entered into a partnership with Focus on Performance (FOP) and in this way came into contact with Neuro Athletic Training through Lars Lienhard.

 

Following this, Steffen completed training as a Neuro Athletic Trainer in the United States with Dr. Cobb and since then has been an integral part of the FOP team. Since then, Steffen has worked at the Olympic Training Centers in Freiburg and Winterberg with Olympic champions and World Cup starters in winter sports, as well as other athletes from various other disciplines.
